FoxFlash Reads VW MED17.5 ECU on Bench

How to use FoxFlash to read ECU? Here's reading VW TC1766 VAG MED17.5 ECU on a bench as a demonstration. 

Connection

Connect FoxFlash main unit & bench box via an adapter. 

Connect bench box to MED17.5 ECU via colored jumper. 

Connect to the computer via a USB cable. 

Plug in the power to the bench box.

ECU Reading

Now we can open FoxFlash Software to start reading.

A device serial number prompt appears. Click "Yes" to enter.

Select the corresponding model: "Volkswagen TC1766 VAG MED17.5", click "Connect".

* Keep ECU power ON.

Turn on the jumper switch according to the prompt.

Click "Read Eeprom".

Save data file after reading.

End of reading, turn the dashboard OFF.

Read VW MED17.5 ECU successfully.
